Haiti and the Dominican Republic
In June, after severe flooding in Haiti and the Dominican
Republic, WMI provided two Living Water™ Treatment
Systems (LWTS™) to International Aid, which shipped
the units in a container with medical and other relief
supplies. FedEx Express donated overnight transportation
of the units from Charleston to the International
Aid headquarters in Spring Lake, Michigan.
In
October, WMI shipped two additional LWTS™ to
Haiti and two LWTS™ to the Dominican Republic.
WMI partnered in this relief effort with Stop Hunger
Now, the Mercy and Sharing Foundation, Catholic
Relief Services, and the Episcopal Diocese of Haiti.
Grenada
WMI
teamed with Samaritan's Purse to ship a Living Water™
Treatment System to aid the victims of Hurricane Ivan
in Grenada.
