Water for Life Gala 2007

The Mayor of Charleston, SC, Joseph P. Riley, Jr. shared his support of WMI and Project SafeWater-Colon before dinner.


Michael Meyers, Treasurer of Pentair, Inc., presents a check for $4.6 million to WMI Founder George Greene. The money will fund WMI's Project SafeWater-Colon, a three-year project which will cost-effectively provide sustainable, safe water access and sanitation to the 220,000 people in the state of Colon, Honduras.


Bishop Edward Lloyd Salmon, Bishop of the Episcopal Diocese of South Carolina,
gave the blessing at the Water for Life Gala.



The Water for Life Gala was held in the Cypress Ballroom at the Charleston
Place Hotel.


Guests enjoyed bidding on both silent and live auction items throughout the
course of the evening.
